TIME PERIODS THAT IDENTIFY THE PEOPLE OF GOD
According to Daniel 12:7, only one people of God exists in the time of the end. This people can be identified on the basis of four different time periods that would be applied to God’s people:
3 /2 times (1,260 days) — Daniel 12:7; Revelation 11:2-7
1,290 days — Daniel 12:11
2,335 days — Daniel 12:12
2,300 evenings and mornings — Daniel 8:13, 14
Different things will happen with the people of God during these periods, including an enemy attack. This means that the events that are connected with the mentioned time periods must be fulfilled in the history of the people that is God’s people.
The only people who has claimed that these four time periods are fulfilled in their history is Jehovah’s Witnesses.
